JOKES: 10 HUSBANDS, STILL A VIRGIN

A lawyer married a woman who had previously divorced ten husbands.
On their wedding night, she told her new husband, "Please be gentle, I'm still a virgin."
"What?" said the puzzled groom.
"How can that be if you've been married ten times?"

TECH: MAKING PETROL OUT OF FRESH AIR?

ALJAZEERA:

Aberdeen, Scotland - With one of the world's most famous railway lines, Stockton-on-Tees has already given birth to one transport revolution. On September 27, 1825, it carried the first ever passenger rail service along its 40km route through industrial north-east England - changing the world forever.
Today, it is at the centre of another technological breakthrough that some scientists and engineers believe could be just as significant as steam locomotion.

FG Targets 10,000 MW

It would be a big relief if Nigeria can attain even 8000 MegaWatt. The real issue, beyond all the big grammar, is the readiness and willingness of government to attain the target. If they are ready, they will. But if they are not ready, and are only playing to the gallery as usual, then we should be ready for another year of darkness and generators.
After all, when they want to do things that favour them [like build new houses, buy planes and acquire fleet of cars], they do not even let us know, but they go ahead to acquire such things at the speed of light.
KontriMan can only pray that this time it is for real, but as we all know… with this folks, one can never be sure!

MORE FIRE OUTBREAKS

About five major fire incidents occurred recently around the country (Alaafin of Oyo’s Palace, Oyo State; Okobaba, Ebute Meta, Lagos State; MRS Depot, Apapa Lagos State; and Ajegunle, Lagos State; Ramat Hall, Bayero Uniersity, Kano). This is not forgetting the fire that recently gutted some parts of the INEC HQ.
KontriMan recently raised this issue of safety consciousness in working and living environments. KontriMan would continue to advise KontriPipu to take the issue seriously.
We sympathise with the victims of the incidents. We thank God that no lives were lost and wish the injured speedy recovery.

The police in Kano yesterday arrested Aminu Sule, the oldest son of the Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, for vehicular homicide.
The Kano State police spokesperson, ASP Magaji Majia, confirmed the death of the yet-to-be identified victim, and that Aminu was being detained by the police.
