Information reaching us has it that the abductors of Professor Kamene Okonjo, Mother of the Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, have demanded to speak directly with the Minister and not with security operatives and negotiators any more.

On their part, the families and relatives of Professor Okonjo have decided to go spiritual. Since the Obi (and husband of the abducted) Professor Chukuka Okonjo, is a devoted Christian, the Chiefs have decided to use spiritual means such as church activities instead of traditional activities to secure the release of the Professor Mrs and Queen.
We sincerely hope that good will come out of this and the Obi will soon have his Queen back to himself. We join the firing prayer warriors to ask for God's immediate intervention.
