AS 2013 GAINS MOMENTUM...

The year 2013 is here and thank God we all made it. (Atleast that's how you are able to read this, abi no be so?) The million dollar question is that since we have made it thus far, what are our projections for the year? What do you feel, think or expect would happen in Nigeria this year? What contributions would you make in ensuring that Nigeria becomes a better place.

ITK: FUN FACTS ABOUT LIFE (1)

  1. The only part of the body that has no blood supply is the cornea in the eye. It takes in oxygen directly from the air.
  2. Every day 200 million couples make love, 400,000 babies are born, and 140,000 people die.

WHAT IF? (4)

OSAZE'S APOLOGY

Nigerian football like all other sectors in Nigeria is in a big mess. It is within this context that the issue of Osaze's outburst should be looked at. KONTRIMAN MONI: NEW YEAR, NEW FINANCIAL PLANS

It’s the New Year which means new plans. The previous year may have been filled with financial uncertainty some of which may have been our own doing. It is therefore wise to make necessary preparations to ensure a stable financial New Year.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO? (4)

What would you do if you became the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?

AS THEY LAY THEIR BEDS...

The above caption was the adage I grew up hearing from my Dad anytime I was being naughty and somehow I've seen it play out in virtually every facet of my life. I then wonder if it isn't same with this barely-floating gigantic vessel called Nigeria.
Earlier this year, a legendary Nigerian soccer star, Rashidi Yekini, finally passed on after years of disillusionment with the state of things in Nigerian football. He was said to have had mental issues which embarrassed his family and thus, they sought to find a lasting solution to his crisis.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

HAPPY NEW YEAR MY KONTRIPIPU. WE PRAY THIS YEAR IS POSITIVELY DIFFERENT FOR US ALL.

STILL ON IT...‏

Our beloved giant came into official existence on 1st October, 1960 but had been an entity under the super giant as far back as 1914 when various pieces of land were knitted together without recourse to the peculiarities of their inhabitants. Now 52 years after, those unholy unions have strained so much that the giant is a society that exists in Hobbes words as 'short, nasty and brutish'.
However, if one attempts to make enquiries from the older frogs as to how the giant became like this, a common dictionary word they would use as excuse is CORRUPTION. Sorry frogs but a tadpole that was birthed in the 80's differs...
